Calling referees!!! Clinics are open
Hockey Nova Scotia Officiating Clinics - Now Open!
Hockey parents, are you looking for a way for your child (or yourself) to stay involved in the game and develop leadership skills all while making some money?
A great way for them to do that is to become a referee!
We're hosting an information session this Thursday at 8 p.m. at Membertou. This is a great opportunity for your child to learn how to become a certified official and earn some money while on the ice. Becoming a referee helps young athletes build confidence, understand the game from a new perspective, develop important life skills and get hours of additional ice time.
No experience is needed, and we welcome anyone who will be 12 years of age or older as of December 31.
See you there!
If you're a returning official or looking to sign up for the first time, registration is now open.
You must be turning at least 12 years old by December 31, 2025 to register for Level 1 and 15 years old for Level 2.
This is a great opportunity to learn more about the game, get extra ice time, and make some money as well.
