u15C Mandatory Player Education Program
HNS in partnership with the team at the Avalon Sexual Assault Centre have built a mandatory education program for all u15 players in the province. The goal of this program is simple: give our U15 players the tools they need to enjoy the game in a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
Sessions will be completed together as a team at the Membertou Arena.
Session 1: Consent, Agency and Healthy Relationships
Session 2: Care and Bystander Action
After the second session, parents and coaches receive a take-home package with further reading.
Mandatory Session dates for the U15C Team are Tuesday, October 20 and Tuesday, October 27 at the Membertou Sports & Wellness Centre.
All u15C SMHA players must attend.
